Sandeep Marwah Special Invitee at Wine Festival Chanti-Noida-Events
More than 90 different wine sellers from the Chanti region participated in 46th International Wine Festival known to the World for its special wines of this region of Italy.
Greves de la Chanti a small town 45 minutes drive from Florence organized a wine festival where renowned media person Sandeep Marwah was the special guest.
Around 90 Wine producers offered their product for local sales and export to the wine drinking countries. Sandeep Marwah, keeping in view the rising international tourism of India, offered many to start their sales in India too.
“I am pleased to see the variety of Chanti wines, which are one of the most popular wines of the World. I have been invited here in Greves on a special invitation of the festival during my visit to Italy” said Sandeep Marwah also Managing Director of NFTC- National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperatives of India Limited and chairing Indo Italian Cultural Forum.
Doing the honors was the mayor of Greve in Chianti Paolo Sottani accompanied by the Assessor of Productive Activities Gionni Pruneti. The president of the Consortium of Chianti Classico wine Sergio Zingarelli as well as the general director Giuseppe Liberatore was also present there.
As tradition requires, there was a small parade around the stands, preceded by the music of the “Amici di Chianti” (Friends of Chianti) and by two “Galli” (roosters). The parade stopped in front of the statue of Giovanni da Verrazzano for the initial toast.
